Your Nervous System Called—It Wants To Rest.
When you get home -- what do you do?
Maybe like me, you come in the door and no matter how hard you try and how many times you put the phone down, sooner or later, you find yourself glued to your phone.
Scrolling is NOT relaxation.
Comfort scrolling is the new comfort eating—just like a sugar hit, it leaves us feeling drained, unsatisfied, and craving something more meaningful, while pulling us further from our goals.BUT let’s not beat ourselves up—our nervous systems are already on overdrive.
Scrolling feels comforting because it lets us stay alert but zoned out.
Here’s the catch: it’s NOT actually relaxing, recharging, or restoring our energy.
The truth is we are absorbing more info than we can process - this makes it hard to "switch off" and relax the mind and the body.
Overstimulation has become our "normal," and with it:
Poor sleep
Heightened anxiety
A sense of being constantly "on".
How's Your Relationship with Rest?
Creating a habit of relaxation within your home makes rest easier and guilt-free. If you don't know how to relax, fully unwind and rest, then consider it a skill to practice. The more you can accustomed to being quiet and intentional with yourself for 60 minutes without the endless stream of notifications and distractions - the more you'll be able to do it in everyday life.
Reconnect with Your Body
With acupressure points, you’ll explore your body in a whole new way—sensing energy and listening to yourself on a deeper level. It’s incredible how little time we spend touching, sensing, and truly tuning in, but when we do, everything shifts. With Homebody, you’re building a foundation for better sleep, less anxiety, clear thinking and more energy
Easily Regulate Out of Overstimulation
In a world that never slows down, you and your nervous system need to know how to reset—gently, consistently, and without overwhelm. Through breath, movement, and acupressure, you’ll learn how to calm your system, recharge your energy, and feel more at ease in your own body, no matter how chaotic life gets.
Feel Relaxed At Home
If you work from home, and even if you don't Homebody gives you an intentional "chill" space to step away from work, to prioritise relaxation time for you in your own home. Plus you can start to relieve tension in your body and stress from your mind without traffic - or finding a parking space!
Feel strong and relaxed
in your body + mind
Not a workout. A ritual.
Relieve Body Stress

Your body holds onto more than you realize—tension, fatigue, and the weight of daily life. Breathe deeper, stretch smarter, and tap into acupressure points that unlock relief. This is movement and self-care working together to melt stress and rebuild energy.
Clear Your Mind

Overthinking? Stuck in mental loops? Homebody Yoga rewires your nervous system for calm, clarity, and focus. Each session strengthens your ability to stay present, release mental clutter, and step into a more grounded version of yourself.
Support Self Healing

Your body already knows how to heal—it just needs the right tools. Each class focuses on 2-3 acupressure points. Think of it as an internal reset button—helping you release, recharge, and return to yourself.
Feel Grounded in Your Body in a Hectic World
The more you can feel at home in your body - it won't matter how busy or chaotic life gets, you will be able to center yourself and make decisions from clarity, not stress.
Build Physical Strength and Balance
Whether you’re aiming to increase stability, strength, or recovery, from a stable base, you move with greater ease, power, and control in daily life. By engaging both large and often under-utilized muscles, Homebody’s practice supports a balanced, stable foundation. This creates a "community effect" within the body—each muscle working in harmony to support the whole.
Energy to Sustain Your Ambitions
With Meridian Yoga, Acupressure points, Asanas and Breathwork, Homebody works to build your energy reserves naturally. This isn’t about a temporary boost—it’s about sustainable energy that supports your ambitions and commitments without burnout.
Relaxation for Your Nervous System
All Heidi's classes allow for intentional moments of deep relaxation. This supports your body’s ability to reset, digest, and integrate, so you can release daily tension and wake up more refreshed.
Emotional Resilience
By working with the body’s energy pathways the classes are designed to help release stuck emotions, build your energy and stamina to face challenges with grace.
Prioritise self care and relaxation
As you dedicate time to yourself, Homebody empowers you to connect deeply with your own strength and worth. This ongoing commitment to self-care and self-compassion gives you the foundation to make empowered choices, set boundaries, and honor what truly matters to you.
hi, hej, salut!

Whether you’re brand new to yoga, deep in your teaching path, or somewhere in between —
Homebody isn’t a workout.
It’s about creating intentional space. A ritual.
For strength and for calmness. For grief and for joy.
For coming home to yourself — gently, again and again.
homebody
feel strong and relaxed in your mind and body - at home.
Life is challenging—sometimes overwhelmingly so—and yet, one of the hardest things is allowing ourselves to experience joy and relaxation, naturally.
These days, we’re constantly “switched on,” bombarded with quick escapes but rarely offered real solutions. Escaping is an option, but it’s not a solution. Healing happens when we build habits that support a strong mind and a calm body. We cultivate strength and peace from within.
Healing is Built Into Your Body’s Design
Regenerative healing taps into what’s known as the Shen, or spirit of the heart. Your body already knows how to heal itself—on the deepest level, this desire to heal is fueled by love, purpose, and connection. Yoga is about cultivating all three through discipline, consistency, and focus.
So why bother breaking through the obstacles and releasing pain? Is it even possible?
I can tell you from experience: yes.
My Story of Resilience & Healing
This year, my adrenals, heart, and spirit were tested to the limit. Instead of succumbing to avoidance, burnout and grief, I turned to the practices that have always sustained me: breathwork, yoga, flower essences, and a growth mindset—and I dug deeper.
I immersed myself in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with its profound understanding of grief and healing far beyond anything I’d encountered in Western medicine. These tools—alongside meridian yoga, acupressure, and emotion potions—carried me through the hardest times and deepest pain I’ve ever faced. They’re not just practices; they’re lifelines.
They can guide you out of pain—toward purpose, resilience, and happiness.
Would I still rather have my brother back? Of course.
But pain is real, and love is the strongest force of all.
How This Path Found Me
My yoga journey began long before Homebody.
Back in 2010, I had a snowboarding accident on Whistler Mountain—I walked away without a scratch, but the mental trauma lingered. Two years later, through Jivamukti Yoga, I began healing from the PTS that had taken root in my nervous system, deepening my respect for the mind-body connection.
And then, life brought me full circle:
Five years later, the same woman who rescued me that day in Whistler reappeared—as my yoga teacher.
Her name is Pashumati, and she later guided me through my 200hr Shantiseva Yoga Teacher Training in 2020.
Since 2021, I’ve taught yoga in Chamonix, France, and Åre, Sweden, offering Apres Ski Yoga, Yoga in Trees, and Superbloom Yoga. Now, I’m taking that experience online with Homebody.
This isn’t just another yoga class—it’s a fusion of Meridian Yoga, Shantiseva Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, shaped by over a decade of wisdom, training, and lived experience.
Thankful for my Teachers
Homebody draws inspiration and knowledge from the incredible work of my yoga teacher, Dr Rose Erin Vaughan, founder of Science of Self Yoga, New York, USA, and Meridian Yoga Therapy. Erin’s profound understanding of the meridian system and anatomy and her traditional yogic approach to self-healing practices have been pivotal in shaping my teaching and my own self-healing.
With deep gratitude to my teacher, Tina Pashumati James, founder of Loka Yoga Whistler, Canada and creator of the Shantiseva Life Program—a transformative path integrating Bhakti, Mantra, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Indigenous Ceremony, and Mental Health & Wellbeing. Her wisdom and guidance continue to inspire my teaching and practice.
With deep gratitude to my teacher, Sackies Skalkos, founder of Yoga Republic, Cork, Ireland whose dedication to movement, breath, and alignment has shaped my understanding of yoga as a living, evolving practice. His dynamic approach, rooted in Vinyasa traditions and deep anatomical knowledge, has instilled in me a respect for adaptability—honoring that each body, each moment, is unique. His teachings remind me that yoga is not just about physical strength but about cultivating resilience, presence, and fluidity both on and off the mat.
All my relations, Aho.
