Maybe like me, you come in the door and no matter how hard you try and how many times you put the phone down, you find yourself glued to your phone. 😬 These days most people don't even watch TV anymore, they listen to it as they scroll endlessly. The truth is we are absorbing more info than we can process - this makes it hard to "switch off" and relax the mind and the body.
Overstimulation has become our "normal," and with it, poor sleep, heightened anxiety, and a sense of being constantly "on".

This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about intentionally creating space in your life for pain and for joy; for strength and for relaxation.
Life is challenging—sometimes overwhelmingly so—and yet, one of the hardest parts is allowing ourselves to experience joy and relaxation, naturally.
These days, we’re constantly “switched on,” bombarded with quick escapes but rarely offered real solutions. Escaping is an option, but it’s not a solution. Healing happens when we build new habits with a strong mind and a calm body. We can cultivate strength and peace from within.
And it's not easy. Getting on the mat doesn't get easier, you just get better at doing it. It's important to do hard things in life because we can do hard things. In the long term, being lazy and complacent with your health is harder and leads to more destruction. Homebody yoga is for regeneration and to support self-healing. And the silver lining? With consistency hard becomes easy.
Regenerative healing taps into what’s known as the Shen, or spirit of the heart. The body has an innate ability to heal itself, and on the deepest level, this heart’s desire to heal is fueled by love, purpose, and connection. Yoga is about cultivating love, purpose and connection thorugh discipline, consistency and simplicity - and dristhi. Focus. We must have focus.
So why bother breaking through the obstacles and releasing the pain? Is it even possible?
I can tell you from experience, yes—because this year, in 2024, my adrenals, heart, and spirit were tested to the limit. Instead of succumbing to burnout and grief, I turned to the practices that have always sustained me: breathwork, yoga, flower essences, and a growth mindset - and I dug deeper.
I found myself immersed in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with its profound understanding of grief and healing far beyond anything I’d encountered in Western medicine. These tools, alongside meridian yoga, acupressure, and emotion potions, carried me through the hardest times and deepest painful moments I could have ever imagined. They’re not just practices; they’re lifelines that can guide you out of pain, toward purpose, resilience, and happiness. (I would still rather have my bro back, but pain is real and love is strongest of all.)
But this yoga journey began a long time ago. Back in 2010, I had a snowboarding accident on Whistler Mountain - I managed to get out without a scrape but the mental trauma and PTS was still reveal itself. Two years later, through Jivamukti Yoga, I began to uncover and heal the deep PTS that lingered from this accident, deepening my respect for the mind-body connection. And then there was a twist of fate: five years later, the same woman who rescued me that day in Whistler reappeared in my life—as my yoga teacher. Her name is Pashumati, and she later guided me through my 200hr Shantiseva Yoga Teacher Training in 2020. Life oddly and miraculously brought me full circle.
Since 2021, I’ve taught yoga in Chamonix, France, and Åre, Sweden, offering Apres Ski Yoga, Yoga in Trees, and Superbloom Yoga. This year, I'm trying something new; a virtual yoga studio. Homebody is a fusion of Meridian Yoga, Shantiseva Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and over a decade of wisdom gained from teachers, practice, and experience around the world. I strive to blend the practical and spiritual, so each practice supports your mind and body far beyond the mat.
With studies in herbalism, reiki, yoga and acupressure, it seems I have a knack for “melting bodies.” Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I’m here to guide you to explore your limits while listening to your body’s needs.

You’ll need a quiet space where you can fully relax. A yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and any props you may have, such as two yoga blocks, bolster, pillows, or a blanket for support.
Meridians are energy pathways in Traditional Chinese Medicine that connect organs and regulate bodily functions. In Homebody Yoga, we integrate meridian-based practices to release energy blockages, promote self-healing, and enhance emotional clarity.
After booking, you’ll receive a Zoom link to join each session. You can choose to have your camera on for feedback and alignment tips or off if you prefer a more private practice.
