Balance the extreme sports of Chamonix life and the demands of everyday life with a yoga class designed to release tension, relax your mind and re-energise your system.
Yoga In Trees will lead you through
  • stretches for strength, balance & fascia restoration
  • breathing techniques for soothing your nervous system
  • forest bathing for relaxation & reconnection.

  • Wednesday (August 14, 21 and 28)
  • @  5pm - 6.30 pm 
  • Meet in front of Plan B Hotel beside Chamonix Sud Bus Station and we will walk together into the trees. The walk is 15 minutes and it is not the same walk as previous years.
  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class.
  • Please bring your own mat.
  • Wear comfortable clothes & bring something warm for the end of class if you need it.
  • WEATHER DEPENDENT: If there is  a storm in the forecast or heavy rain, the class will be cancelled & refunded.

Stretch + chill

By focusing on both breath and movement, you’ll find balance and tune into your own needs. You’ll leave the session feeling more centered and grounded, and better equipped to handle whatever comes your way.

OUTDOOR YOGA

After a gentle 15-minute walk to a peaceful spot in the forest, reconnect with nature and your inner peace. Through gentle stretches and strength-building poses, you’ll reconnect with your body, releasing physical tension and re-energizing your system.

RELAX + RECONNECT

Combining stretching with breath can reduce post-activity soreness, speed-up recovery and improve sleep. Forest bathin can lower stress levels, boost your mood, and enhance your overall well-being. The natural surroundings help calm the nervous system, making it easier for your body to relax, recover, and reset.

350 hr Yoga teacher

Yoga is far more than just a workout—it's a personal journey that can enhance every aspect of life. It generates harmony between mind and body, builds strength and flexibility, and opens the door to profound levels of expansion and stillness.

My teacher, Pashumati, always says that yoga isn’t about escaping life; it’s about diving deeper into it - embracing its challenges, and finding peace within the chaos.

After a snowboarding accident in 2010, I faced the overwhelming challenge of PTSD. Yoga became my path to healing, helping me overcome trauma and deepening my understanding of the intricate mind-body-spirit connection. In a serendipitous twist, the very person who rescued me on Ski Patrol later became my yoga teacher, guiding me further along this transformative path.

Today, as a 200-hour Shantiseva Yoga Teacher with advanced studies in progress (an additional 300-hour Meridian Yoga Teacher Training), I am deeply committed to sharing the healing and empowering benefits of yoga with others. My passion is to guide you into a deeper connection with your body, helping you enhance your active lifestyle and develop your inner strength, serenity and sense of adventure.
