Welcome to yoga in the forest with slow movements, long stretches & breathing techniques.
Combining yoga postures with breath and strengthening exercises helps to counter the stresses of daily life and the strains of extreme sports.
Mobility & Balance
A class focused on your spine, back, hips, hamstrings and shoulders as well as soothing your nervous system.
Relax & Recover
Combining stretching and breathing can help with post-activity soreness, speed-up recovery and improve sleep.
A 15 minute walk takes us to a beautiful spot in long grass & tall trees to connect with nature & our relaxed Nature.
All bodies & levels welcome
We will meet at the entrance to the Grépon Car Park in Chamonix Sud and walk together from there into the trees. The walk is 10 minutes at an incline and 5 minutes decline, taking about 15 minutes.
Class will begin before we walk so please arrive 5-10 minutes before class.
Please bring your own mat or towel.
Please bring sunhat, sunglasses and sun-lotion if you need it. Wear comfortable clothes & bring something warm for the end of class if you need it.
My dog Rex will be present so if you love dog energy and want some dog-time, this is the class for you!
If it is raining heavily in the hours before class and the forecast is set for more rain, the class will be cancelled and you will be fully refunded. If only the ground is wet from an earlier rainfall class will most likely still go ahead.

Yoga creates symmetry throughout the whole body, combining mind and body; strength and flexibility; reaching and relaxing.
As my teacher Pashumati says “yoga is not a negation from life, it’s going into life”.
For me, yoga is life ~ yoga is a lifestyle, rather than just a practice. Yoga is not about what you wear or your flexibility, it's about your connection to yourself; your stillness in motion with your own alignment to your mind, body & spirit.

Yoga saved my life, twice. After a snowboarding accident in 2010, it wasn't until I started attending a yoga class that I realised I had PTSD - not only did I resolve the PTSD, I began to deepen my understanding and reverence for the mind, body and spirit connection.
Want to hear the best part? The woman who rescued me in Whistler Ski Patrol, ended up being my yoga teacher, completely coincidently, 5 years later. My rescuer and yoga teacher, Pashumati is also whom I studied my 200hr Shantiseva Yoga Teacher Training.
